Get to Know Stephan C. Chait, CPA/ABV/CFF

I have been a New Jersey CPA since 1987 and offer a variety of personalized services to individuals and businesses. I am Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. My specialty is forensic accounting in matrimonial and shareholder matters. By choosing to specialize in a field means that you are completely devoted to it, that you will protect it as if it were your own. Additionally, I perform fraud investigations, business valuations, estate and gift valuations, due diligence assignments, assist in mergers and acquisitions, split-ups, testify as an expert witness, and mediate solutions to financial problems.
During 2016, I became associated with the regional accounting firm of Murphy, Miller & Baglieri, LLP (MM&B), located in Glen Rock, NJ. MM&B serves middle-market companies and high net worth individuals. MM&B is a full-service accounting firm with over 20 professionals.

Experience

I have hands-on experience in a variety of industries, including professional services, real estate, medical, technology, construction, manufacturing, and retail. I primarily serve as an expert witness and business valuation consultant in New Jersey and New York but have handled many other locations both in the US and abroad. I also have extensive trial experience in stockholder and matrimonial matters. I am a licensed CPA in New Jersey and New York.
